Are you someone who has a passion for payroll system imporvements & analytical support? Are you seeking an opportunity to utilize your technical research, creative problem solving, and critical thinking skills? Then this is the position for you! The Department of Justice, Office of Human Resources is looking for a highly motivated individual who enjoys working in a positive team environment to join our Payroll and Benefit Services Unit (PBS).
Under general direction of the Supervisor II, you as the Analyst III will serve as a subject matter expert and liaison between PBS and the Workday Support team. You will be expected to perform more difficult and complex tasks and maintenance of the Workday business processes, job aids, training materials, and data reports as they pertain to the work that falls within the scope of the PBS. You will be expected to provide high-level technical and analytical support to PBS employees. The PBS Team is expected to work cooperatively with peers and professional staff to effectively advocate the needs of payroll staff, exercise good judgment, communicate effectively, and portray a customer service friendly, professional, and positive demeanor at all times.
Working Conditions
This position has been designated as eligible for telework and is currently a remote centered position. The position will however require in-person attendance on a recurring basis. The selected candidate would report to Department of Justice headquarters in Sacramento when required for job functions, in-person meetings, training, etc. Expenses related to travel to the office when required are the responsibility of the employee. All telework schedules are subject to change and may be reevaluated at any time.
