Hydraulics Systems Technician

Position Overview

• We are seeking a skilled Hydraulics System Technician to support the assembly, fabrication, maintenance, and repair of hydraulic and mechanical systems.
• The ideal candidate will have hands on experience working with hydraulic and mechanical assemblies, engineering drawings, hydraulic schematics, hand tools, and industrial equipment.
• The technician will work as part of a team with minimal supervision while maintaining a strong focus on safety and quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Read and work from engineering drawings, hydraulic schematics, technical documents, and formal work instructions.
• Perform assembly, fabrication, maintenance, and repair of hydraulic and mechanical assemblies.
• Use hand tools to assemble, disassemble, and repair machinery.
• Operate handheld power tools safely and effectively.
• Operate stationary equipment including drill presses, band saws, chop saws, and hydraulic presses.
• Fabricate and install hydraulic pipes and hoses.
• Perform precision measurements using appropriate measurement equipment.
• Support work involving hydraulic power supplies, distribution systems, power trains, and rotor systems.
• Follow engineering documentation and technical requirements during assembly and fabrication activities.
• Work effectively within a team while requiring minimal supervision or direction.
• Follow established safety procedures when working around hazardous conditions.
• Maintain a safe and organized work environment.

Basic Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Experience operating non automated equipment such as: Drill press, Band saw, Chop saw and Hydraulic press
• Prior experience with aviation hydraulics and mechanical assemblies.
• Experience with large industrial hydraulic power supplies and distribution systems.
• Experience fabricating hydraulic pipes and hoses.
• Experience with power trains and rotor systems.
• Experience using precision measurement equipment.
• Ability to read and work from engineering drawings and technical documents.
• Strong mechanical and technical skills.
• Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision.
