Asset Management Analyst

We are partnered with a growing real estate owner/operator and development platform seeking an Asset Management Analyst to join its Denver-based team.
This is a highly visible, operationally focused role supporting a multifamily portfolio that includes affordable housing, middle-income, and market-rate assets across the Denver metro area. The firm operates with a lean, entrepreneurial culture and offers direct exposure to executive leadership, property management, accounting, and development.

About the Role
The Asset Management Analyst will support portfolio reporting, budgeting, forecasting, operational analytics, and cross-functional initiatives across the company’s multifamily portfolio.
This is not a traditional acquisitions-heavy asset management role. Instead, the position is focused on operational execution, reporting consistency, process improvement, and portfolio performance optimization.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, technologically savvy, analytical, and proactive, with the ability to manage recurring deliverables while helping improve systems and workflows.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis across a multifamily portfolio
- Prepare recurring portfolio and operational reporting packages for leadership and investors
- Monitor property performance including occupancy, concessions, delinquency, and NOI trends
- Support KPI tracking, dashboard creation, and operational reporting initiatives
- Partner cross-functionally with accounting, property management, and development teams
- Assist with lender and investor reporting requirements
- Support rent optimization, market analysis, and portfolio performance initiatives
- Help improve workflows, reporting systems, and operational efficiencies using technology and AI tools
- Participate in special projects related to portfolio operations and growth initiatives
Qualifications
- 2–5 years of experience in real estate, finance, accounting, FP&A, portfolio operations, or related analytical roles
- Strong Excel and financial analysis skills
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail and follow-through
- Comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
- Technology-forward mindset with interest in reporting tools and workflow automation
- Multifamily experience preferred
- Experience with Power BI, Tableau, Airtable, Smartsheet, ResMan, or similar tools is a plus
- Affordable housing / LIHTC exposure is helpful but not required
