Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival, providing friendly and efficient service throughout their visit
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring timely delivery
- Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
- Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness
- Manage cash handling, cashiering duties, and openTable reservations with precision and accountability
- Maintain food safety and sanitation standards by adhering to proper food handling procedures and sanitation protocols
- Assist with bussing tables, cleaning workstations, and supporting kitchen staff during busy periods to ensure smooth operations
- Foster positive guest relations by addressing questions, resolving concerns promptly, and creating memorable experiences in both fine dining or nightclub environments
Requirements
- Prior experience in food service or restaurant environments, especially in fine dining or nightlife settings such as nightclubs or bars
- Proficiency with POS systems including Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms; familiarity with OpenTable is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally and courteously
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling techniques
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables or bar stations efficiently during peak hours
- Ability to upsell menu items confidently while maintaining a positive attitude
- Previous experience with serving, bussing, host/host duties, or cashiering is highly desirable
- Basic math skills for cash handling, billing accuracy, and transaction processing
- Culinary or kitchen experience is a bonus for understanding food preparation and presentation standards
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed in fast-paced environments
