Job Summary
The Payroll Analyst supports the accurate and timely processing of U.S. payroll while ensuring compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations. This role partners with HR, Finance, and Accounting to maintain data integrity, resolve payroll issues, and improve payroll processes.
Hybrid role- 3 days in office, 2 remote.
Full Time- Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm
Contract role thru October 2026
Key Responsibilities
- Process biweekly, multi-state U.S. payroll (exempt & non-exempt populations)
- Review payroll inputs (new hires, terminations, pay changes, timecards, special earnings) for accuracy
- Handle off-cycle payrolls, corrections, and retroactive pay
- Respond to employee payroll inquiries in a timely, professional manner
- Maintain payroll systems (ADP Vantage, ADP Portal, Equifax) and ensure data integrity
- Perform payroll audits, reconciliations, and ensure compliance with wage & hour laws
- Process garnishments, levies, and other deductions
- Support payroll tax reconciliations and coordinate with ADP Tax
- Prepare reports and support audits related to payroll, benefits, and compensation
- Identify and resolve data issues in partnership with HRIT/IT
- Assist with system testing, process improvements, and payroll-related projects
- Document payroll procedures and support continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- 3 years of payroll experience
- Experience with ADP payroll systems (required)
- Multi-state payroll experience required
- CPP or FPC certification (preferred)
- Experience in shared services environments (preferred)
- Knowledge of payroll tax compliance and general ledger impacts
- Strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills
