Data Center Project Manager

Broadstaff is seeking a Data Center Project Manager to support project execution in a data center or other mission-critical environment. This role will manage project budgets, vendor procurement, project controls, commissioning, closeout, and cross-functional coordination with Construction, Supply Chain, and Operations teams.

Key Qualifications:

• 7 years of project management experience in data center or mission-critical construction environments.
• Experience on the owner/operator side preferred over General Contractor experience.
• Proven experience managing project budgets, forecasts, vendors, and procurement.
• Working knowledge of data center MEP systems, including switchgear, UPS, generators, cooling systems, BMS, and physical security.
• Experience with vendor procurement and purchasing & sourcing (P&S) in a corporate environment.
• Strong proficiency with Excel and Smartsheet or equivalent project management tools.
• PMP certification preferred but not required.
• Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities and deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage project budgets, forecasts, variances, and financial reporting.
• Coordinate purchasing, vendor sourcing, quotes, purchase orders, deliveries, and invoice reconciliation.
• Lead project coordination through commissioning and final closeout.
• Coordinate schedules, submittals, long-lead equipment, commissioning, and closeout activities with cross-functional teams.
• Maintain integrated schedules, milestones, execution plans, RAID logs, project trackers, and status reports.
• Support project readiness, turnover activities, and punch-list resolution.
• Identify potential issues with equipment submittals and support successful project execution.
