Quality Engineering (QE) Lead

We are looking for an experienced Quality Engineering (QE) Lead / Test Automation Lead to drive quality assurance across web, mobile, and API platforms. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in automation frameworks, Agile delivery, and end-to-end testing while leading testing efforts across complex digital applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end testing activities across Web, Mobile, and API platforms.
• Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks using Selenium, Playwright, Appium, and REST API automation.
• Drive functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end (E2E) testing.
• Collaborate with cross-functional Agile teams during sprint planning, estimation, and delivery.
• Create test strategies, test plans, and automation suites.
• Validate customer journeys including authentication, payments, and order processing.
• Integrate automation with CI/CD pipelines using GitLab.
• Mentor QA engineers and establish testing best practices.
• Track defects, ensure quality gates, and support release readiness.

Required Skills

• 5 years of Quality Engineering or Test Automation experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with Selenium (Java) and Playwright (TypeScript).
• Experience in REST API automation testing.
• Mobile automation using Appium.
• End-to-end testing across Web and Mobile applications.
• Programming experience in Java, Python, C#, or TypeScript.
• Strong SQL skills for backend validation and transaction testing.
• Experience with GitLab CI/CD pipelines.
• Hands-on experience with Jira and qTest.
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and SDLC/STLC.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Test Grid or Tosca.
• Knowledge of AI-assisted testing tools.
• Experience testing customer-facing digital applications.
• Domain experience in authentication, payment, and order management workflows.
