Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in Data Engineering or Software Engineering.
- Strong hands-on experience with SQL and Python.
- Exposure to Spark (PySpark/Spark SQL) and distributed data processing.
- Experience or familiarity with Databricks, Snowflake, or similar cloud data platforms.
- Understanding of ETL/ELT processes, data modeling, and data quality concepts.
- Familiarity with Git, CI/CD concepts, and Agile methodologies.
- Good communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Must be located in the United States.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Power BI, Microsoft Fabric, or Tableau.
- Exposure to Delta Lake, Iceberg tables, or modern lakehouse architectures.
- Knowledge of HR/People Analytics data domains.
- Familiarity with Workday, ServiceNow HR, or similar systems.
- Exposure to streaming technologies such as Kafka or Spark Structured Streaming.
- Azure certifications are a plus.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable data pipelines and applications.
- Write clean, optimized, and reusable code following engineering standards.
- Perform debugging, unit testing, and defect resolution.
- Collaborate with technical leads and cross-functional teams to deliver solutions.
- Participate in technical design discussions and process improvements.
- Create and maintain technical documentation.
- Ensure timely delivery with high-quality standards.
