We are seeking an experienced Senior Full Stack Java Engineer to design, develop, and deploy enterprise-scale applications supporting highly available, secure, and scalable systems. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, React, Kafka, Microservices, and CI/CD automation, along with experience building cloud-native applications and modern event-driven architectures.
This role works closely with Product Managers, Architects, Data Engineers, and cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions across the UI, API, and backend layers.
Required Skills
Must Have
- 6 years of software development experience
- Strong expertise in Java
- Strong experience with Spring Boot
- Hands-on experience with React
- Experience developing REST APIs & Microservices
- Strong knowledge of Kafka or other messaging platforms
- Experience with JavaScript
- Experience with Python
- CI/CD pipeline development and application deployment
- Agile/Scrum development experience
Nice to Have
- Playwright or other UI automation frameworks
- AI-assisted development tools (Cursor, Claude, GitHub Copilot)
- Foundation Models, Prompt Engineering & RAG
- Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop scalable full-stack applications using Java, Spring Boot, and React
- Build secure, high-performance RESTful APIs and Microservices
- Develop responsive and accessible user interfaces
- Implement event-driven architectures using Kafka
- Design scalable ETL frameworks using Java and Python
- Develop automated UI and end-to-end tests
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation
- Participate in architecture discussions and technical design reviews
- Troubleshoot production issues and optimize application performance
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver enterprise-grade software
- Write technical documentation and maintain coding standards
- Leverage AI tools to improve software development productivity
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- 6 years of enterprise software engineering experience
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Experience working independently in complex technical environments
- Experience building production-grade React applications
- Deep understanding of object-oriented programming principles
