What are the responsibilities and job description for the Operations Analyst position at BrickRed Systems?
We are looking for a hands-on Procurement Operations Analyst to support a high-volume invoice processing backlog. This is an execution-focused role, not strategic, requiring someone experienced in Accounts Payable (AP) and Procure-to-Pay (P2P) processes who can quickly ramp up and independently manage invoice queues.
Key Responsibilities
Uncoded Invoices
- Resolve invoice blockers by coordinating with stakeholders for budget increases or PO coverage
- Escalate aging invoices requiring procurement or system intervention
- Use Databricks to identify and report invoice bottlenecks
PO Tolerance Exceptions
- Resolve price, quantity, and amount variances
- Request budget increases or initiate new PR/PO processes
- Collaborate with vendors and stakeholders to resolve disputes
- Process PO adjustments in NetSuite and ZIP
- Maintain high-value exception trackers ensuring audit compliance
Required Qualifications
- 3 years of experience in Accounts Payable or P2P operations
- Strong experience handling high-volume invoice processing (100–250/week)
- Expertise in:
- Invoice coding
- PO matching
- Tolerance exception resolution
- Hands-on experience with NetSuite (GL coding, invoice posting, adjustments)
- Familiarity with ZIP or similar procurement tools
- Ability to generate reports using Databricks or similar platforms
- Strong communication skills using Slack, Gmail, Zoom
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment
