We are seeking a highly skilled Lead AWS DevOps Engineer with strong expertise in Generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), AWS Cloud, and modern DevOps practices. The ideal candidate will play a key role in designing, building, and deploying enterprise-scale AI-powered software solutions while driving CI/CD automation, Kubernetes-based deployments, observability, and cloud-native engineering best practices.
This role requires hands-on experience with production-grade GenAI applications, AI agent development, release automation, and cloud infrastructure, along with the ability to collaborate across Product, Platform Engineering, SRE, Security, and Development teams.
Required Skills
- 7 years of experience in Full Stack Development, SQL, and ETL processes.
- 7 years of experience implementing and managing CI/CD pipelines.
- 5 years of experience with AWS Cloud and cloud-native technologies.
- Strong experience with DevOps practices, Kubernetes, Docker, GitLab CI, Helm, and Infrastructure Automation.
- Hands-on experience with Generative AI, LLMs, AI Agents, RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation), and LLM orchestration.
- Experience building scalable, highly available enterprise applications.
- Telecom domain experience is mandatory.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy enterprise-scale Generative AI applications and software solutions.
- Build AI agents, LLM orchestration frameworks, and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) solutions.
- Develop reusable AI components and internal tools that enable business users to leverage AI without coding.
- Build, manage, and optimize CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI and DevOps best practices.
- Containerize applications using Docker and deploy workloads to Kubernetes using Helm.
- Implement deployment strategies including Blue/Green Deployments, Canary Releases, Feature Flags, and Automated Rollbacks.
- Build operational dashboards and reporting solutions to monitor release health, AI model performance, and production metrics.
- Implement observability using monitoring, logging, alerting, tracing, and telemetry tools.
- Troubleshoot complex production issues involving Kubernetes, cloud infrastructure, APIs, distributed systems, and enterprise integrations.
- Collaborate with Product Management, Platform Engineering, Security, SRE, and UX teams to deliver secure and scalable software.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to architecture decisions, engineering standards, and AI governance.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- 4–7 years of software engineering or cloud engineering experience.
- Strong experience building and deploying production-grade GenAI solutions.
- Experience with AI engineering standards, governance, and reference architectures.
- Experience developing Docker images, Helm charts, Kubernetes deployments, and GitLab CI pipelines.
- Strong SQL and ETL experience; Snowflake knowledge is preferred.
- Experience building dashboards using Power BI, Tableau, Streamlit, or similar reporting platforms.
- Excellent analytical, communication, customer-facing, and technical documentation skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience building composable AI platforms and internal developer tooling.
- Experience mentoring engineering teams.
- Strong understanding of release management and enterprise DevOps practices.
- Experience deploying secure, scalable, and cost-optimized cloud solutions.
