- Manage banquet and catering operations from planning to execution, ensuring timely delivery and exceptional quality.
- Develop menus in collaboration with culinary staff, incorporating dietary considerations and innovative dishes while maintaining cost control through inventory management.
- Implement and uphold food safety standards, including proper handling, storage, and sanitation practices.
- Monitor inventory levels regularly, controlling food supplies to minimize waste while ensuring availability of ingredients for all service needs.
- Provide leadership during shift management by coordinating staff schedules, training new team members, and resolving operational issues promptly.
Requirements
- Extensive experience in food industry roles such as restaurant management, catering, or banquet services with a focus on fine dining environments.
- Proven supervising experience with strong leadership skills to manage diverse teams effectively.
- In-depth knowledge of food preparation techniques, menu planning, and kitchen management practices.
- Familiarity with food safety regulations and dietary department standards to ensure compliance at all times.
