Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages accurately and efficiently using POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS.
- Engage with guests to provide excellent customer service, answer questions about drinks, and create a fun, welcoming environment.
- Manage cash handling and cashiering responsibilities with precision, ensuring accurate transactions and proper change.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, adhering to food safety and food handling standards at all times.
- Restock supplies regularly, monitor inventory levels, and communicate needs for replenishment or maintenance.
- Follow all health regulations and safety protocols to ensure a safe environment for staff and guests alike.
- Support catering events, banquets, or nightclub functions by serving beverages promptly and professionally.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a bartender in a restaurant, nightclub, or banquet setting is highly preferred; fine dining experience is a plus.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for order processing and sales tracking.
- Strong knowledge of food safety practices, food handling procedures, and responsible alcohol service.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during busy hours.
- Ability to perform basic math accurately for cash handling and retail math calculations.
- Experience in brewing or beverage preparation techniques is advantageous.
