System Engineer
- Location: Houston, TX 77012 (1 client site - 5 days a week)
- Compensation: $85K to 95K

What You’ll Do:
- Own deployments for Microsoft infrastructure: Windows Server, Office 365, Azure
- Implement and support virtualized environments: VMware and/or Hyper-V
- Lead modernization efforts by designing tailored infrastructure solutions
- Serve as Tier 3 support, mentoring L1/L2 engineers and troubleshooting advanced issues
- Perform firewall configurations and contribute to network security improvements
- Partner directly with clients to assess needs and implement smart, scalable IT strategies
What You’ll Bring:
- 5 years of hands-on IT engineering experience
- 2 years of MSP experience required — this is non-negotiable
- Deep expertise in Microsoft 365, Azure AD, and Windows Server (2012–2022)
- Strong skills in VMware or Hyper-V virtualization
- Working knowledge of firewall deployment, security best practices, and root-cause analysis
- Microsoft Intune experience
