This is a hands-on sales leadership role for a proven producer who knows how to lead from the front. A trusted leader in industrial sealing and fluid control solutions is hiring a Sales Manager to take ownership of a multi-state sales team, drive revenue growth, and rebalance the product mix toward higher-margin, higher-value solutions across oil, gas, and chemical customers. This role spends three days per week in the field alongside reps, coaching live on customer calls, and two days in the office tightening execution, improving processes, and leading the inside sales team. They are looking for a confident, assertive sales leader who rolls up their sleeves, earns respect quickly, and knows how to turn activity into results.

- Lead, coach, and holds accountable a team of 7 - 8 outside sales representatives and inside sales partners across TX, LA, CO, OK, and NM
- Spend significant time in the field conducting joint sales calls, providing real-time coaching, and strengthening customer relationships
- Drive revenue growth by improving product mix and increasing penetration of higher-margin, niche industrial products
- Recruit, onboard, train, and mentor sales talent while setting clear expectations and performance standards
- Develop and manage gross margin budgets, sales KPIs, and quarterly performance targets
- Improve sales execution, quoting speed, and internal communication across teams
- Build brand awareness and market presence for the company within the U.S. market
- Become deeply knowledgeable in the full product portfolio, pricing models, and value proposition
- Collaborate closely with the General Manager while operating independently without micromanagement
- 5 - 10 years of experience selling industrial products into oil, gas, or chemical end users
- 2 - 5 years of proven sales leadership experience managing and developing sales teams
- Background in industrial distribution or manufacturing
- Demonstrated ability to increase revenue, improve margins, and drive team performance
- Strong presence, confidence, and leadership style="">Willingness to be hands-on, detail-oriented, and deeply involved in day-to-day sales activity
- Intermediate Excel skills
- Experience with ERP or CRM systems is a plus
- Bachelor’s degree preferred, experience will be considered instead of a degree
