Position Title: Property Level Accountant II

This role is essential for managing the financial health of multiple properties within the organization. The Property Level Accountant II will oversee financial reporting, cash management, and support the accounting team. This position requires strong leadership skills to guide junior accountants while ensuring accuracy in financial statements. Salary Range: $80,000 - $90,000 / Year DOE

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly financial statements for 5–8 properties
• Track and reconcile cash receipts and disbursements
• Perform monthly bank reconciliations
• Monitor and ensure timely payment of key expenses such as mortgages and insurance
• Work closely with Property Managers to support financial reporting
• Record and track accruals and prepaid expenses
• Maintain accurate general ledger records in property management software
• Assist with audits, internal reviews, and management requests
• Help resolve accounting issues with property management and operations teams
• Support accounting activities related to property operations as needed
  
  

Requirements

• 4–6 years of property management accounting experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Experience with property management accounting software
• Residential/multifamily real estate experience is required
• Entrata software experience is preferred
