Commercial Banker Responsibilities
- Lead and support a team of lenders and assistants in the commercial lending process
- Engage in the production of commercial loans and manage a significant loan portfolio
- Conduct planning calls and meetings to strategize loan offerings
- Prepare comprehensive reports for senior underwriters and analysts
- Monitor and manage past due loans
- Participate in community service initiatives as part of the bank's commitment to social responsibility
- 7 years of commercial banking experience, preferably from a community banking background
- Experience with commercial loans ranging from $150,000 to $500,000
- Portfolio management experience of $10 million to $15 million
- MNLS number is required
- Proficiency in Windows-based software and basic Excel skills
- Bachelor's degree is preferred
- Experience in real estate lending is preferred
- Active involvement with SPA is preferred
