Pharmacist

Boulder City Hospital is seeking Per Diem Pharmacists to join our team and provide professional clinical and dispensing services. This role supports the safe, effective, and appropriate use of medications throughout the hospital. Candidates must be available on an as-needed basis and able to adapt to a flexible schedule.

Essential Functions:

• Accurately dispense medications and review prescriptions for accuracy and appropriateness.

• Provide drug information and consultation to physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.

• Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and hospital regulations regarding drug storage and dispensing.

• May participate in drug utilization review and pharmacy staff supervision as assigned.

• Requires frequent standing, walking, sitting, and bending at the waist.

• Must have full manual dexterity and vision corrected to 20/20.

• Demonstrates strong communication skills, both in-person and over the phone.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited school of pharmacy.

• Current Nevada Pharmacist license in good standing.

• Hospital or clinical pharmacy experience preferred.

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety.

Compensation & Schedule:

• Per Diem (as needed); no benefits included.

• Schedule will vary based on department needs, including potential weekends and holidays.
