Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, teas, and specialty beverages with precision and flair.
- Handle food preparation and food handling tasks in accordance with food safety standards.
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS efficiently for order processing, cashiering, and transactions.
- Manage time effectively to ensure prompt service during busy periods while maintaining quality standards.
- Engage with guests warmly, providing excellent customer service and addressing inquiries or special requests professionally.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, adhering to food safety and sanitation protocols.
- Assist in inventory management, restocking supplies, and ensuring proper food handling procedures are followed.
Experience
- Previous barista experience in a café or food service environment is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous.
- Strong skills in sales, cash handling, basic math, and retail math are essential for accurate transactions.
- Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively in fast-paced settings while delivering exceptional customer service.
- Knowledge of food safety standards, food preparation techniques, and proper food handling practices.
