Duties

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and specialty drinks with precision and flair using professional equipment.
• Greet guests warmly, take their orders accurately, and provide personalized recommendations to enhance their experience.
• Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS efficiently for order processing, cash handling, and sales transactions.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, adhering to food safety standards and food handling protocols.
• Assist with food preparation and serving of light snacks or baked goods in accordance with health regulations.
• Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service while maintaining quality standards.
• Handle cash register operations, including cashiering duties and basic retail math to balance transactions at shift end.

Requirements

• Previous barista experience or background in the food industry is highly preferred; strong coffee knowledge is a plus.
• Demonstrated customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests.
• Experience operating POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; familiarity with cash handling and cashiering procedures.
• Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during high-volume periods.
• Knowledge of food safety practices, food handling, and basic math for sales calculations.
• Ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate loads, and work flexible hours including weekends and holidays.
