Wealth Management Client Associate
Blue Chip Talent, in partnership with a wealth management organization, is seeking a skilled Client Service Associate. This role is responsible for supporting a financial advisor team of two with client account administration, processing account transactions and transfers, and managing day-to-day operational requests within a wealth management environment.
Location: Birmingham, MI
Work Arrangement: Onsite, Monday–Friday

Job Duties
- Open and onboard client accounts while completing required documentation
- Process account transfers, distributions, wires, and other money movement requests
- Coordinate directly with investment custodians on account openings, transactions, paperwork, and operational matters
- Support financial advisors with day-to-day servicing of approximately 100 client relationships
- Research client account questions involving retirement plans, investment accounts, and related financial matters
- Review account forms and documentation for accuracy and completeness before submission
- Maintain accurate client information and activity within CRM and client-management systems
- Follow up with custodians, plan administrators, financial institutions, and internal teams to resolve outstanding requests
Skills & Experience Required
- 3–5 years of directly relevant experience within wealth management, an RIA, investment advisory, or closely related financial-services environment
- Hands-on experience with client account opening, onboarding, transfers, distributions, money movement, and account documentation
- Experience supporting financial advisors and servicing investment or wealth-management clients
- Working knowledge of investment account operations and custodial processes
- Experience using CRM or electronic client-management systems
- Ability to independently execute wealth-management operational processes with limited foundational training
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant professional experience
