Blue Chip Talent, in partnership with one of our clients, is seeking a skilled Associate AR. This role is responsible for monitoring accounts, collecting receivables, resolving billing issues, and supporting region-specific collection efforts.
Job Duties
- Track and monitor outstanding debts for assigned regions or areas
- Collect receivables across various channels including royalties, franchise fees, technology, and food
- Address and resolve billing discrepancies and customer payment inquiries
- Maintain accurate records of collection activities, including contacts, arrangements, and resolutions
- Process refunds and credits efficiently and accurately
- Identify bad debt and prepare documentation for write-off approval as needed
- Monitor COD accounts, send out totals, and confirm payments received
- Prepare reports on collection activities, progress, and overdue accounts
Skills & Experience
Required
- Advanced proficiency in Excel
- Prior experience in collections
- Strong communication skills for engaging with franchisees and leadership
- Knowledge of receivables management and collections processes
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and maintain organized records
- Some experience with PeopleSoft is a plus
Desired
- Experience with billing systems and working with high-level stakeholders
- Ability to negotiate payment plans and maintain professional ongoing communication
- Familiarity with credit card processing
