Blue Chip Talent, in partnership with a professional services organization, is seeking a skilled Document Preparation Clerk. This role is responsible for preparing physical records for digital conversion by reviewing paper files, removing non-paper materials, and organizing documents for the scanning process.
Job Duties
- Review physical paper files before digital scanning
- Remove staples, paper clips, binder clips, sticky notes, and other non-paper materials
- Organize and prepare documents according to established procedures
- Inspect files to ensure documents are scan-ready and properly aligned
- Separate and sort records as needed for processing workflows
- Maintain accurate handling of confidential and sensitive documents
- Follow workplace safety and file handling procedures
- Support high-volume document preparation efforts to meet project timelines
Skills Required:
- Experience handling or organizing physical documents or files
- Ability to perform repetitive manual tasks involving paper records
- Ability to lift, move, and handle file boxes or stacks of documents as needed
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and standardized processes
