Blue Chip Talent, in partnership with an automotive manufacturing organization, is seeking a skilled Senior Project Manager. This role is responsible for leading complex cross-functional projects, driving new product development, and improving project governance across the organization.
Job Duties
- Lead multiple complex projects across product development, manufacturing, and operations
- Manage project scope, schedules, budgets, resources, risks, and deliverables
- Coordinate initiatives across Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Quality, Product, Sales, and Marketing
- Drive new products from concept through launch using stage-gate methodologies
- Improve project governance, processes, templates, and executive reporting
- Mentor Project Managers and lead continuous improvement efforts
Skills & Experience Required
- Bachelor's degree and PMP certification
- 10 years of project management experience
- Advanced Microsoft Project experience
- Experience leading large, cross-functional projects and multiple concurrent programs
- Knowledge of budgeting, resource planning, risk management, governance, and portfolio management
- Automotive/manufacturing experience with APQP and stage-gate processes
Desired
- Automotive aftermarket and new product development experience
- Knowledge of PPAP, IATF 16949, or ISO 9001
- PMO or portfolio management experience
- Lean, Six Sigma, or operational excellence experience
- ERP or product information management system experience
