Senior Network Administrator  Direct Hire | Department of Defense Contractor***No relocation, In-state applicants only. Must be available to interview immediately.***Bishop & Company is hiring a Senior Network Administrator to support operations at Pearl Harbor. This is an on-site, full-time, direct-hire role on a government contract with our client. Candidates must reside in Oahu at the time of hire. No relocation assistance provided. What You’ll DoDesign and deploy network infrastructure including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless systems.Monitor network performance daily and resolve issues to ensure reliability.Implement security measures like firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection systems.Troubleshoot complex network problems and minimize downtime.Document network configurations and policies for consistency and compliance.Collaborate with IT teams to integrate new technologies.Mentor junior staff and lead network-related projects from start to finish.What You’ll BringBachelor’s degree in IT or related field, or equivalent experience.6–10 years of experience managing complex network environments.CompTIA Security  and CCNP Security certifications (required).Experience with Cisco and Palo Alto firewalls.Strong knowledge of network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs).Familiarity with network monitoring tools and security best practices.Experience with cloud networking, virtualization, and scripting tools is a plus.ServiceNow ticketing experience preferred.Willingness to support occasional night, weekend, or holiday operations.Compensation is unique to each candidate and relative to the skills and experience they bring to the position. The salary range for this position is typically $80-110,000 annually.
