The Temporary Sr. Payroll Specialist is responsible for day-to-day and off-cycle payroll operations for assigned pay cycles. The Payroll Specialist ensures compliance with established procedures for the accurate and timely preparation, documentation, maintenance, and disbursement of payroll checks, payroll taxes, vacation, PTO, and leave of absence records. Performs payroll tasks as assigned, including assisting and providing backup for other Payroll team members, and is responsible for ensuring client satisfaction across all responsibilities.
Payroll Administration & Complianc
- eProcess regular and off-cycle payroll, including auditing, reporting, and filin
- gMaintain payroll data across systems (e.g., Workday, Ascentis, WorkForce) and ensure accuracy of all input
- sEnsure proper tax withholding and wage reporting across multi-state and global payroll
- sAdminister payroll-related records including PTO, leave of absence, and benefits deduction
- sTrack and calculate leave of absence payments, including complex scenario
- sEnsure compliance with federal, state, and local wage and hour regulation
- sSupport payroll system updates and integration
