An immediate full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available in Roscoe, IL, supporting elementary and middle school students across two buildings. This contract position runs from ASAP through the end of the school year, with potential extension into the next school year if internal hiring does not occur.
Responsibilities include delivering comprehensive speech-language services to a caseload of approximately 35 students. The ideal candidate will provide bilingual support in both Spanish and English, addressing diverse communication needs within the student population. This role requires maintaining compliance with all state and Professional Educator License (PEL) requirements while working collaboratively with school staff to enhance student outcomes.
Key Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Professional Educator License (PEL) and State SLP license
- Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English (mandatory)
- Experience working with elementary and middle school students
- Ability to manage a caseload of approximately 35 students across two school buildings
- Skilled in in-person speech-language services; virtual service delivery is not part of this role
Position Details:
- Contract duration: ASAP start through the end of the current school year, with possible continuation next school year
- Full-time, 37.5 hours per week
- Work hours: Either 7:15 AM to 3:00 PM or 8:00 AM to 3:45 PM
- Location: Roscoe, IL, school setting
