Travel Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - Harvard, IL

A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available from August 12 to November 2, supporting elementary and pre-kindergarten students in a school setting. This role requires providing specialized speech-language services during a leave assignment, with a commitment of 37.5 hours per week. The position is travel-based and located in Harvard, Illinois.

Key Qualifications

• Valid SLP certification, including Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
• Experience working with school-aged children, particularly in elementary and pre-kindergarten settings
• Bilingual proficiency preferred for one of the two positions
• Strong knowledge of speech-language development and disorders in educational settings
• Ability to effectively collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals
  
  

Responsibilities

• Conduct speech and language assessments to identify student needs
• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans
• Provide direct speech therapy to students, adapting approaches as necessary
• Maintain detailed documentation and progress reports
• Participate in team meetings and communicate regularly with school personnel and families
