This full-time, on-site position runs Monday through Friday with hours from 7:50 a.m. to 3:10 p.m. The role offers a manageable caseload of 10-12 students, allowing focused, individualized instruction and support.
Key responsibilities include:
- Delivering specialized instruction tailored to the unique needs of elementary students with disabilities
- Developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Collaborating with classroom teachers and support staff to enhance student learning and inclusion
- Monitoring student progress and adapting instructional strategies accordingly
- Communicating effectively with families and participating in school meetings
Preferred qualifications:
- Masters or Doctoral Degree in Special Education
- Active Illinois Special Education teaching license
