Bachelor's degree from an ASHA-accredited university, active Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) license and minimum 1 years speech-language pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.


A professional Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) is sought to support K-12 students in a dynamic school setting located in San Francisco, CA. This contractual position is designed to span the current school year, providing valuable assistance in implementing speech and language programs under the supervision of certified speech-language pathologists.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist speech-language pathologists in delivering therapeutic interventions tailored to students individual needs.
  • Conduct screenings, provide direct support, and document student progress.
  • Collaborate with educators and other school staff to facilitate integrated communication strategies.
  • Maintain accurate records and prepare necessary reports in accordance with school policies.
  • Support the development and implementation of individualized education plans (IEPs) as required.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Valid SLPA certification or licensure compliant with state regulations.
  • Experience working within a K-12 educational environment preferred.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with children of varying ages and abilities.
  • Commitment to fostering a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
