Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct functional behavior assessments (FBA) and develop individualized behavior intervention plans (BIP)
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and school staff to implement and monitor behavior strategies
- Provide direct consultation and training to teachers and support personnel to ensure effective behavioral supports
- Collect and analyze data to measure progress and adjust interventions accordingly
- Promote positive behavioral outcomes that enhance academic and social success for students
Qualifications and Experience:
- Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification
- Experience working with children and adolescents in educational settings
- Strong knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles and evidence-based behavior intervention techniques
- Effective communication and collaboration skills to work in multidisciplinary teams
- Ability to manage caseload and prioritize duties independently within a school environment
