Social Worker | Spring Lake, Michigan

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Social Work, active Social Worker license and minimum 1 years School Social Work experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Located in Spring Lake, MI, this onsite contract position at an elementary school requires expertise in school social work. The role involves supporting approximately 40 students through direct evaluation, intervention, and collaboration with educational teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct diagnostic evaluations and write detailed reports.
• Participate actively in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings alongside parents and school personnel.
• Monitor and report on student progress toward established goals during reporting periods.
• Develop and implement data collection systems for functional assessments and positive behavior supports.
• Analyze and graph data to track student outcomes.
• Contribute to and deliver professional development focused on school-wide Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS).

Qualifications:

• Masters Degree from a graduate social work program approved by the Michigan Department of Education, including a minimum of 500 supervised practicum hours.
• Current temporary approval, continuing temporary approval, or full approval by the Michigan Department of Educations Office of Special Education.

Schedule: Approximately 8:15 AM to 3:55 PM, Monday through Friday.Duration: Immediate start through June 5th.Location: Onsite in Spring Lake, MI.
