Key Qualifications:
- Active OT license required
- At least one year of classroom-based occupational therapy experience in a school setting
- Must hold, or be in the process of acquiring, a CDE license (necessary for compliance)
- Ability to provide copy of current CDE license or verification documentation with application
- Strong skills in evaluation, implementing intervention, and documentation
- Exceptional communication abilities for supporting students, collaborating with staff, and connecting with families
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide onsite occupational therapy services to a caseload of fifty students (split evenly between two local schools)
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans that address students’ educational needs
- Deliver direct therapy, collaborate on IEP teams, and consult with teachers and family members
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date records to ensure compliance and track student progress
- Participate actively in school meetings, in-service training, and professional development as required
Role Details:
- Full-time contract from August 17, 2026, through May 21, 2027
- 37.5 hours per week (35 paid, with 2.5 hours of unpaid lunch)
- All services to be provided onsite – remote/virtual not available
- Serve two school communities, with a caseload of 25 students per campus
