Desired Qualifications:

• Active Michigan teaching certification with Special Education endorsement (must provide certification details upon submitting your application)
• Experience working with students on Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Strong classroom management skills and the ability to adapt instruction for varying abilities
• Familiarity with compliance and documentation requirements in special education
• Collaborative approach to working with general education teachers, paraeducators, and support staff
• Effective communication skills with students, families, and staff

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide direct instruction and supportive services to students based on individualized goals
• Develop and implement IEPs in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
• Track student progress, maintain accurate records, and report outcomes
