Key Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid and active (or pending) CDE license or COOL is required; candidates without cannot be considered
- Demonstrated experience in classroom management within an elementary school
- Proven ability working with students with autism
- Background in developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with students, staff, and families
- Ability to foster an inclusive, supportive classroom environment
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver specialized instruction based on student IEPs in a resource classroom setting
- Develop, adapt, and monitor effective instructional strategies for diverse learners
- Collaborate with general education staff, support personnel, and families to ensure student progress
- Maintain accurate documentation, including IEP goal-tracking and progress reports
- Implement positive behavioral supports and classroom management techniques
- Participate actively in meetings, trainings, and professional development
