Bring your expertise and passion for pediatric speech-language pathology to a dynamic school-based environment supporting elementary students. This full-time, contract opportunity offers direct impact with a diverse caseload across multiple elementary sites near Sykesville, MD. From October 1st through June 4th, you’ll collaborate with an engaged educational team to help 35–45 students reach their communication goals.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Holds current Maryland SLP licensure
- Awarded ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Experience working with school-aged children, elementary preferred
- Familiarity with best practices in IEP development and implementation
- Strong communication, organization, and teamwork abilities
- Previous experience in school-based or pediatric therapy settings valued
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide assessment, therapeutic intervention, and progress monitoring for elementary students with a range of speech-language needs
- Develop individualized education plans (IEPs), maintain compliant documentation, and participate in team meetings
- Deliver speech and language therapy services one-on-one or in small groups
- Collaborate closely with educators, families, and specialists to support student development
- Contribute insights and recommendations as a valued member of the multidisciplinary team
