This part-time, onsite contract role focuses on the supervision of Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) working with students in kindergarten through second grade. You’ll play a crucial part in creating a supportive learning atmosphere and directly impact the social and academic growth of children with diverse needs.
Your initial responsibilities from September to October will include overseeing RBTs serving a caseload of students with multiple disabilities during a maternity leave coverage period. Once this coverage concludes, you’ll transition to offering targeted Tier II and III interventions addressing a range of behavioral challenges among the K-2 population. The setting features an energetic community of just under 500 students, providing a dynamic and impactful area to apply your expertise.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid BCBA certification required
- Previous experience in school settings strongly preferred
- Demonstrated ability to supervise and mentor RBTs
- Knowledge of effective behavioral intervention strategies, including Tier II and III supports
- Understanding of the unique needs of young children with multiple disabilities
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Availability for a part-time schedule across the school year
