Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct diagnostic evaluations and write detailed reports.
- Participate actively in IEP meetings alongside parents and school staff.
- Monitor and report on student progress toward established goals throughout the school year.
- Develop and implement data collection systems for functional assessments and positive behavior support intervention.
- Analyze and graph student data to assess progress and adjust interventions as needed.
- Contribute to professional development sessions related to school-wide Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports (PBIS).
Qualifications and Experience:
- Masters Degree in Social Work from a graduate program approved by the Michigan Department of Education.
- Completion of a minimum 500-hour supervised practicum.
- Valid temporary or full approval by the Michigan Department of Education, Office of Special Education.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively with school teams and families to support student development.
