Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct diagnostic evaluations and write detailed reports.
- Participate actively in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings.
- Monitor student progress toward goals and provide regular reporting.
- Develop and implement data collection systems for functional assessments and positive behavior support.
- Collect, analyze, and graph data to track and support student progress.
- Engage in professional development and assist with Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) across the school.
Qualifications:
- Masters degree from a Michigan Department of Education (MDE)-approved graduate social work program, including a minimum 500-hour supervised practicum.
- Temporary, continuing temporary, or full approval from MDE, Office of Special Education.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with school staff, students, and families.
Location and Schedule:
- Assignment location is onsite at an elementary school in Muskegon, Michigan.
- Hours are approximately 8:15 AM to 3:55 PM.
- Position is available immediately through June 5th.
