Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapy Aide to join our team. In this role, you will assist physical therapists in providing high-quality patient care and support during therapy sessions. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of anatomy and physiology, along with experience in various care settings, including outpatient clinics and inpatient facilities. Your contributions will help enhance the recovery process for patients across different age groups and conditions.
Responsibilities
- Assist physical therapists in implementing treatment plans for patients.
- Prepare treatment areas and ensure all equipment is clean and functional.
- Help patients with exercises, mobility, and other therapeutic activities.
- Maintain accurate patient records and assist with intake procedures.
- Provide excellent patient service by ensuring comfort and addressing concerns.
- Educate patients about their treatment plans and answer any questions they may have.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes.
- Support administrative tasks as needed, including scheduling appointments.
Requirements
- Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology is essential.
- Previous experience in a hospital or clinical setting is preferred.
- Familiarity with acute care, post-acute care, sub-acute care, geriatrics, orthopedics, and outpatient services is advantageous.
- Strong interpersonal skills to provide effective patient care and service.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team environment.
- Experience with intake procedures is a plus.

Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour
