Schedule: Monday – Friday, 40 hours/week

Job Description:
We are currently seeking a qualified Behavior Intervention Specialist for a full-time, on-site position in Avondale, AZ for the 2025–2026 school year. This role supports students in special education programs by implementing behavioral strategies and promoting a safe, productive learning environment.
Responsibilities:
• Support students with emotional and behavioral challenges in a school-based setting
• Implement and reinforce behavior intervention plans
• Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and school staff to promote student success
• Provide de-escalation and crisis intervention support as needed
• Escort students across campus (nurse’s office, time-out, etc.) when necessary
• Maintain accurate documentation of student behavior and progress
• Participate in training and staff meetings as required
Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent (required)
• Valid Arizona IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card
• Experience working in a behavioral, school-based, or mental health setting preferred
• Knowledge of child development and behavioral support techniques
