Job Description
BeVera Solutions is seeking a Technical Writer and Documentation Specialist to develop and maintain clear, accurate, and well-organized documentation in support of a federal website maintenance and design effort. This role will support monthly reporting, SOP development, technical and operational documentation, transition documentation, meeting summaries, process guides, and other materials needed to support contract execution and system continuity. The ideal candidate will be comfortable translating technical and operational information into clear written products for government audiences. This role aligns strongly with the RFI’s documentation requirements and BeVera’s writer/editor experience supporting CDC publications, clearances, workflows, and structured reporting. This position is contingent upon successful contract award to BeVera Solutions, LLC.
NOTE: Position Contingent upon award of contract. This role is part of a pre-award candidate search for an upcoming federal government contract.

Key Responsibilities
- Draft and maintain monthly progress reports, summaries, SOPs, guides, and internal process documentation.
- Prepare operational and technical documents related to website maintenance, configuration, and transition activities.
- Support meeting documentation, action items, and task-tracking updates.
- Assist with documentation required for system transition, restoration, and operations continuity.
- Edit written content for clarity, consistency, grammar, formatting, and compliance with federal standards.
- Coordinate with technical, content, and program staff to ensure documentation is current and accurate.
- Bachelor’s degree in English, communications, technical writing, public health, information systems, or related field.
- 5 years of experience in technical writing, documentation, editing, or federal reporting support.
- Strong writing, editing, and document organization skills.
- Experience preparing SOPs, user guides, progress reports, or operational documentation.
- Ability to synthesize complex technical or programmatic information into clear written products.
- Experience with federal clients, especially HHS or CDC.
- Experience with documentation for websites, content systems, digital tools, or IT operations.
- Familiarity with accessibility, clearance, and records-management requirements.
