Overview
We are a brand new Best Western coming into our busy season and seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and order in our hotel, ensuring a welcoming and hygienic environment for our guests. This position requires a strong commitment to customer service and an eye for detail.

Duties

• Perform cleaning tasks in guest rooms, hallways, and common areas to ensure a high standard of cleanliness.
• Sanitize bathrooms, kitchens, and other areas as required, following established protocols.
• Launder linens and towels, ensuring they are fresh and well-maintained.
• Conduct floor care duties including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and carpet cleaning.
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
• Assist with housekeeping management tasks as needed to enhance operational efficiency.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries and requests in a friendly manner.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in housekeeping or custodial roles is preferred, especially in hotel settings.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with guests and team members.
• Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and use of cleaning equipment.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Attention to detail with a focus on quality and thoroughness in all cleaning tasks.
• Physical stamina to perform cleaning duties throughout the day, including lifting and moving items as necessary.
