Duties

• Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing surfaces to ensure a spotless environment.
• Maintain cleanliness of public areas such as lobbies, hallways, restrooms, and dining spaces by sweeping, mopping, dusting, and disinfecting.
• Handle cleaning equipment and chemical agents safely and efficiently while adhering to safety data sheets (SDS) guidelines.
• Manage heavy lifting tasks involved in moving furniture or supplies with proper manual handling techniques to prevent injury.
• Restock amenities such as toiletries, towels, and linens to ensure guest comfort at all times.
• Follow hotel emergency procedures promptly and accurately in case of incidents or safety concerns.
• Maintain detailed records of cleaning activities and report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in hotel housekeeping or janitorial roles is highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of floor care techniques including carpet cleaning, tile maintenance, and vacuuming.
• Ability to handle chemical agents responsibly while maintaining safety standards.
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude towards guests and team members.
• Physical stamina for manual handling tasks such as lifting heavy items and standing for extended periods.
• Familiarity with hotel housekeeping management systems is a plus but not required.
• Knowledge of hotel emergency procedures and safety protocols ensures a secure environment for all.

Pay: $12.00 - $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20.0 – 40.0 per week
