Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of rooms, common areas, and facilities using appropriate cleaning techniques and equipment
- Conduct residential cleaning tasks including dusting, vacuuming, mopping floors, and sanitizing surfaces to ensure hygiene standards are met
- Handle laundry duties such as washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens or clothing items
- Maintain floor care by performing carpet cleaning, polishing hard floors, and applying appropriate treatments to preserve flooring quality
- Ensure proper sanitation of bathrooms, kitchens, and other high-touch areas to prevent the spread of germs
- Manage janitorial supplies inventory and notify management when supplies need replenishing
- Deliver excellent customer service by addressing residents’ or guests’ requests promptly and professionally
Qualifications
- Proven experience in custodial work, residential cleaning, or hotel housekeeping is highly desirable
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, sanitation procedures, and safety protocols
- Ability to perform floor care tasks such as carpet cleaning and polishing hard surfaces effectively
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in all cleaning activities
- Excellent communication skills to interact professionally with residents or clients
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards of cleanliness
- Prior experience in janitorial or commercial cleaning environments is a plus
