Role Overview
BEPC is seeking an experienced Studio Operations Lead to support one of our clients in building and optimizing the operational foundation of a high-performing in-house medical content studio. This role is ideal for a process-driven operations professional who thrives at the intersection of creative production, workflow optimization, and continuous improvement.
As the Studio Operations Lead, you will design scalable operational processes, improve production workflows, implement performance metrics, and partner with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient delivery of regulated marketing content. Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement the studio's end-to-end operating model, including intake, briefing, prioritization, resource planning, production workflows, review routing, and content delivery.
- Analyze current processes to identify bottlenecks, eliminate waste, and drive continuous improvement using Lean methodologies, value stream mapping, root cause analysis, and Kaizen principles.
- Develop and monitor operational KPIs including cycle time, throughput, capacity utilization, SLA performance, review pass rates, and stakeholder satisfaction.
- Build forecasting models to support resource planning and staffing decisions based on projected demand.
- Optimize collaboration between creative teams and regulatory review processes, including Medical, Legal, and Regulatory (MLR) review workflows.
- Configure and administer workflow management tools, dashboards, project tracking systems, and integrations with regulated content management platforms.
- Develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), playbooks, process documentation, and RACI matrices to support scalable operations.
- Serve as the operational partner to studio leadership by identifying risks, facilitating capacity planning, and ensuring successful project delivery.
- Support change management initiatives and drive adoption of new operational processes across cross-functional teams.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- 5–8 years of experience in operations, process management, program management, or marketing operations.
- Proven experience designing operational workflows and business processes from the ground up.
- Hands-on experience with Lean methodologies, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement frameworks (certification preferred).
- Strong analytical skills with experience developing dashboards, reporting metrics, and data-driven operational insights.
- Experience using project and workflow management platforms such as Workfront, Asana, Monday.com, Airtable, Smartsheet, or similar tools.
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Demonstrated ability to balance operational efficiency while supporting creative and cross-functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting pharmaceutical, biotechnology, healthcare, or other regulated marketing environments.
- Familiarity with Medical, Legal, and Regulatory (MLR) review processes.
- Experience with Veeva Vault PromoMats or similar regulated content management systems.
- Background supporting in-house creative agencies or content production studios.
- Experience working within Agile or hybrid project delivery environments.
Contract Details
- Schedule: Monday–Friday
- Hours: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
- Work Model: Hybrid (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday onsite)
- Interview Process: Two interviews (approximately 45 minutes each)
- Pay Rate: $58- $68
