As a Legal Recruiting Coordinator, you will support the full lifecycle of attorney recruiting, onboarding, learning, and professional development initiatives. This role partners closely with attorneys, leadership, and cross‑functional administrative teams to ensure a smooth, welcoming, and high‑quality experience for candidates and new hires. You'll contribute to firmwide talent strategies while supporting day‑to‑day operations in a fast‑paced professional services environment.

Responsibilities
Legal Recruiting & Candidate Support
Coordinate all phases of attorney recruiting, including interview scheduling, travel logistics, reimbursements, and candidate communication for lateral, entry‑level, and summer program candidates.
Support on‑campus recruiting, job fairs, networking events, and receptions, including preparing materials, interview packets, presentations, and postings.
Process resumes from candidates, referrals, and search firms; maintain applicant tracking systems, databases, evaluations, and follow‑up actions.
Serve as a professional point of contact for candidates, attorneys, schools, and vendors while supporting firmwide recruiting initiatives.
Coordinate local summer program logistics, including orientation, training, social events, calendars, materials, and communications.
Support program operations such as assignment tracking, evaluations, attorney engagement, attendance, room reservations, catering, and distribution of resources.
Assist with national program planning as needed, including reviews and training initiatives.
Coordinate onboarding and pre‑arrival processes for new attorneys and staff, including scheduling, paperwork, background checks, reimbursements, and documentation.
Support employee lifecycle processes, including status changes and offboarding.
Respond to routine inquiries regarding policies, onboarding, and procedures while maintaining compliance and accurate records.
Coordinate attorney training and development programs, including scheduling, logistics, attendance tracking, and materials.
Support office initiatives, recognition efforts, events, reporting, document preparation, data entry, and other administrative projects as assigned.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required
2 years in legal recruiting, HR, campus recruiting, or professional services preferred
Prior law firm or professional services experience strongly preferred
Experience with attorney recruiting, summer programs, onboarding, or professional development is a plus
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, ATS platforms, HRIS systems, and recruiting databases preferred
Strong organizational, communication, and relationship‑building skills
Excellent written communication and attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast‑paced environment
High level of professionalism, discretion, and judgment
Ability to work independently and collaboratively
Flexibility to work overtime during peak recruiting periods
Interest in professional development or involvement in organizations such as NALP, SHRM, or similar associations is a plus
