We are seeking an experienced Corporate Legal Assistant/Paralegal to support our attorneys in a corporate practice. Hybrid working schedule!
The Corporate Legal Assistant will provide high-level administrative and substantive support to attorneys handling corporate transactions, real estate, entity formation, mergers and acquisitions, and general business matters. The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of experience in a corporate legal environment, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities with precision and discretion.
Draft and transcribe legal documents
Maintain corporate records, books, and compliance calendars
Assist with deal closings and closing books
Assist with due diligence and closing binders for mergers, acquisitions, and financing transactions
Draft correspondence and communicate with clients and attorneys
Manage attorney calendars, schedule meetings, and coordinate conference calls
Enter attorney time, process billing, and assist with expense reporting
Maintain and organize electronic and physical files in accordance with firm procedures
Conduct basic legal and corporate research as needed
Minimum of 2 years of experience as a legal assistant or paralegal preferred
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
