Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a full caseload of trust and estate litigation matters from inception to resolution.

• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and other legal documents with precision and strategic insight.

• Conduct and defend depositions, hearings, mediations, and trials across California courts.

• Develop and execute creative legal strategies aligned with client objectives.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients through proactive communication and professional diplomacy.

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience in trust and estate litigation.

• Licensed to practice law in California.

• Proven track record of first- or second-chair trial experience (minimum of five trials).

• Experience in preparing and attending at least 25 depositions.

• Deep understanding of the California Probate Code, Code of Civil Procedure, and Evidence Code.

• Proficient with Clio, MS Office, and legal technology tools.

• Ability to manage multiple matters independently while meeting billable goals.

• Strong team orientation, communication, and client advocacy skills.
