A highly regarded Labor & Employment Practice is seeking a mid- to upper-level Labor & Employment Associate Attorney to represent employers in sophisticated employment litigation and workplace counseling matters. The successful candidate will work directly with experienced attorneys handling complex employment disputes, regulatory compliance, workplace investigations, and preventive employment counseling for regional, national, and international business clients.

Duties
• Represent employers in sophisticated labor and employment litigation matters before state and federal courts.
• Provide strategic employment counseling regarding workplace policies, employee relations, compliance, and risk management.
• Draft pleadings, motions, legal memoranda, employment agreements, policies, and other employment-related documents.
• Conduct legal research involving federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
• Participate in depositions, mediations, hearings, settlement negotiations, and trial preparation.
• Advise employers regarding discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wage and hour, wrongful termination, and other workplace issues.
• Collaborate closely with attorneys on complex employment litigation and compliance matters.
• Maintain direct communication with clients while providing practical and business-focused legal guidance.
• Manage multiple employment law matters while ensuring exceptional client service and timely case management.
• Develop litigation strategies and assist clients in minimizing employment-related risks.
• Participate in business development initiatives and strengthen long-term client relationships.
• Stay informed regarding developments in labor and employment law affecting employer clients.

Requirements
• 3–5 years of labor and employment law experience.
• Employment litigation experience is required.
• Active admission to the Florida Bar.
• Fluency in Spanish.
• Strong employment counseling and litigation skills.
• Excellent legal research, writing, and analytical abilities.
• Outstanding client counseling and interpersonal communication skills.
• Strong academic credentials.
